Total numbers of students selected for 38^th

  K.V.S National Sports Meet 2007-2008 =03

  Number of students participated in Regional sports Meet held on 06 to 09 sept at KV1,AFS, Pathankot=373. 22 teams were of Kho-Kho,14 teams of chess and 05 teams of Table Tenis.

   155 Students from our Vidyalaya took part in Regional Sports Meet held at different venues.

      Regional Sports Meet 2006-07 was held at KV 1, Pathankot from 06-09-2006 to 09-09-2006

      Coaching camp for Badminton was also held at KV 1, Pathankot from 23rd September to 30th September, 2006.

      Two days workshop for PRTs of Pathankot cluster along with Amritsar and Jalandhar cluster was conducted from 15^th and 16^th September, 2006

      On 19th November, 2006, Gold medals were given to all the gold medal winners of Jammu region in different sports in National Sports Meet held at Pune. 54 students got Gold & 14 students got Bronze medal. Medals were given by Asstt. Commissioner KVS (JR), Sh. S. Vijaya Kumar.

      On 23rd November, 2006, 9th National Science Olympiad was conducted in the school. 33 students took part in it.

      On 23rd November, 2006, Career & Guidance counseling was conducted in the school for classes X & XII.

      On 26th November, 2006, 1st  NSEP, NSEC & NSEB was conducted in the school in which 25 students from XII Sci. & 05 students from XI Sci. took part.

      KV No. 1 was the venue for Bulbul & Cubs Mela for Pathankot cluster. 320 Bulbuls & Cubs of all KVs except KV Lakhanpur took part in it on 29th November, 2006.

      Abhishek Mishra of IX A has received the scholarship of Rs. 1000/- for securing 10th position in All India Ranking in 1st National Biotechnology Olympiad.
